Jaguars, OT Cam Robinson Reportedly Agree To Huge Contract Extension
The Jacksonville Jaguars franchise-tagged offensive tackle Cam Robinson earlier this offseason. Now, the two sides have come to a long-term deal.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Robinson and the Jaguars agreed to a three-year contract worth up to $54 million in total. This will lock the left tackle in through the 2024 season.
A second-round pick of the Jaguars out of Alabama in 2017, Robinson has started 44 of 49 games the last three seasons and 61 in his career. Last year, Robinson finished 19th among eligible tackles in pass blocking, according to Pro Football Focus.

Jacksonville signing Robinson to an extension seemingly eliminated any possibility that they will take one of the top offensive tackles No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft tomorrow night.
According to a report from Pro Football Network’s Tony Pauline, the Jaguars were still debating who to take with the first pick as of this week. General manager Trent Baalke reportedly wants Georgia pass rusher Travon Walker while owner Shad Khan wants Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.
We’ll know which decision maker won out in about 33 hours.
