'Jackass' star Steve-O plans encore performance on Aug. 17 at Long Center

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Long Center announced that Jackass star and stand-up comedian Steve-O will be returning to Lafayette for an encore performance in August.

The last time Stephen Glover – AKA Steve-O – was in town for his "The Bucket List Tour," Glover performed to a practically sold-out theater at the Long Center for Performing Arts.

Glover hopes to return to another packed theater for his Aug. 17 performance this year.

For those unfamiliar with Glover, he’s best known for his stunt-based reality show called Jackass, which premiered its first season in 2000 on MTV.

Since then, Glover premiered in a number Jackass sequels, and movies, built a career in stand-up comedy and became a New York Times best-selling author with the release of his memoir, “Professional Idiot.”

Glover also produces content for his YouTube channel and his “Wild Ride with Steve-O” podcast that features guests like Post Malone, Demi Lovato, Shaq, Tom Delonge from Blink 182, and more.

Tickets for this 18-and-older show sell for $41.75.

Tickets will be available for online pre-sale starting May 22 and then available in-person and online on May 23.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

The Long Center will offer select beer, wine, and soft drinks for purchase.
