Jack Black Goes Full 'School of Rock' at 100th Birthday Party for Tom Morello's Mother

Jack Black is channeling his inner Dewey Finn!

In new video footage from Tom Morello's mom, Mary Morello's, milestone birthday celebration, the School of Rock star can be seen embodying his character from the film as he takes the stage for a musical performance.

The party took place in honor of the newly-minted 100-year-old, an activist who founded the anti-censorship group Parents for Rock and Rap in 1987.

For the occasion, the Nacho Libre actor casually sported a matching tie-dye shorts and t-shirt set with messy hair, while behind him, a crew of school-aged band members served as his accomplices for the presentation.

"Mary Morello’s 100th bday celebration featured a stirring rendition of @ozzyosbourne & #RandyRhoads 'Mr. Crowley' performed by @jackblack and a kick ass band of 12 & 13 year olds! Mary was pleased! (My son Roman on guitar)," Tom captioned the clip, which was uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The 2003-released family comedy finds Finn (Black), an overly enthusiastic and struggling guitarist, navigating new territory while posing as a teacher for a group of private elementary school students after being thrown out of his bar band.

Social media users couldn't get enough of the "rad" performance, pouring into the comments section with both praise for the young musicians and well wishes in honor of Mary's century celebration.

"WOW! What a rad tribute to a rad lady. Can’t wait to see what else these young ppl have up their sleeve!" one exclaimed, as another agreed, "That was the greatest thing I’ve seen in a long time! Happy Birthday Mary!!!!!!"

A third noticed, "the kid absolutely ripping the guitar solo with Jack Black in front of Tom Morello... He's never gonna forget that!"

"SHREDDING!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥," Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk scream-wrote.

Meanwhile, an additional social media user insisted, "Mary Morello = Legend 🙌."
