For this installment of Ultimate Food Trivia Quiz we challenged Iron Chef hosts Alton Brown, Kristen Kish, and Mark Dacascos to answer some of the series' toughest questions yet.

These culinary experts were put to the test to see who knows the largest exporter of avocados, how many segments are in your average orange, and what the heck mageirocophobia is, among other head scratchers.

For one question, we handed the team an obscure wooden kitchen tool and asked them to name it. To no one's surprise, Alton used his extensive culinary knowledge to answer it correctly; it was a Scottish spurtle, which is traditionally used to mix oatmeal.

Of course a video starring Alton Brown wouldn't be complete without his signature wit. For a question about which nuts were originally used to make dynamite, he joked, "I just know that nuts are no longer used in making dynamite because you don't want to blow someone up if they have an allergy."

We also had to throw in a question or two about some of their Iron Chef colleagues. Did Mark Dacascos, who has been the Chairman of Iron Chef America since it premiered in 2005, correctly guess Bobby Flay's win percentage? The answer might surprise you.

By the end of the quiz, two of the three hosts were tied for first place and moved to the tiebreaker round. The question: What's the most frequently ordered food in the U.S.? To see who won and got to take home the coveted prize (the spurtle), you'll have to watch the video for yourself.

You can see Kristen, Alton, and Mark back in Kitchen Stadium by watching the new season of Iron Chef, available to stream now on Netflix.
