Ireland secured a narrow three-run win over hosts the Netherlands in their final T20 tri-series match in The Hague on Friday.

The Irish had already wrapped up victory in the series with a five-wicket win over Scotland on Thursday.

George Dockrell top-scored for Ireland with an unbeaten 30-ball innings of 53 which included two sixes and five fours as the Irish posted 161-6 in Voorburg.

Max O'Dowd hit 60 in the Dutch reply before being dismissed by Craig Young and the Ireland seamer also took the crucial final-over wicket of Wesley Barresi as the home side finished on 158-5.

Mark Adair produced impressive bowling figures of 2-21 from his four overs as he dismissed Dutch skipper Scott Edwards (12) and Vikramjit Singh (27).

Curtis Campher scored 37 of Ireland's runs before becoming one of Logan van Beek's two victims with skipper Paul Stirling contributing 36.

Ireland face Sri Lanka in Florida on 31 May before beginning their T20 World Cup campaign against India in New York on 5 June.
