Bill Nye thirst traps likely weren't on people's bingo cards for 2024, but here we are.

On Monday, April 1, Time Out New York and The Planetary Society shared an identical Instagram post featuring a photo shoot of the Bill Nye the Science Guy star. The images showed the TV personality, 68, rocking suit jackets and sunglasses while fiercely posing in honor of the solar eclipse on April 8.

In the comments, folks couldn't get over how seductive Nye looked in the images. One Instagram user joked, "Bill Nye is like, bouta to flex the periodic table on y’all, show you a real chemical reaction."

Someone else wrote, "He didn’t have to go this hard," while another person commented, "bill nye, you SERVED."

Yet another Instagram user shared, "Bro dropped the hardest editorial pics for the solar eclipse. ATE."

Meanwhile, someone else declared, "Bill Nye in his baddie era, taking out the science deniers! 😎"

Over on X (formerly Twitter), people also thirsted for Nye, with one person commenting, "This is natural rizz. What most men could only dream of."

Another X user admitted, "i need him so bad."

Someone else pointed out, "These go incredibly hard."

Time Out also sat down with Nye to chat about the April 8 solar eclipse.

“Don’t miss this eclipse. It’s a big deal," Nye urged. "The next one’s not for 20 years. You don’t know where you’re going to be or if you’re going to be able to be there. So catch this one."
