International pizza restaurant chain planning to open a second location in Bellingham

An international pizza chain has announced plans to open a second location in Bellingham.

MOD Pizza is adding a location at Sehome Village, joining Bellingham’s first MOD Pizza restaurant in Barkley Village, according to the company’s website.

MOD Pizza has set up over 500 national restaurant locations and has even spread into Canada since starting in Seattle in 2008, according to a press release from the company. The restaurant’s menu includes customizable pizzas, and salads, along with seasonal specials such as a cinnamons sugar pizza, handheld pizzas or chocolate peppermint cakes.

In Washington state alone, MOD Pizza has 78 locations currently open or in the process of opening.

Bellingham’s newest MOD Pizza does not have an opening date yet, but will be located at 330 36th St., near REI, Ace Hardware and Dollar Tree.
