When people post freely on social media, they open themselves up to criticism. And while we can all like what we like as long as it's not harming anyone, some commenters are very loud with their dislike or even hatred if they disagree with the post, especially when it comes to home decor or interiors. Even though how one decorates their home is a very personal choice, negative commenters definitely come out of the woodwork when something they dislike catches their eye, and the latest viral video we've seen is rife with them. In the Instagram reel below, posted by @ty_brown856, we're shown a classic "before" photo of a kitchen that's in the process of being renovated. According to the Instagram bio, Ty Brown is an epoxy resin artist in southern New Jersey who works on home remodels as part of his job, and this kitchen that he posted is one of his latest projects

Seems innocent enough, right? Wrong. The "after" video that follows is, well, jarring to say the least. It shows a swirl of yellow, gray, and white epoxy resin (we're assuming) on the floors, the island, the countertops, and the backsplash. Does it slightly look like a broken egg yolk? Sure, but you simply have to watch the video yourself to truly get the full picture.

Unsurprisingly, people in the comments are making their opinions of the space quite known. "The ugliest kitchen I’ve ever seen. Makes me nauseous just looking at it🤢," one person commented, amassing over 131,000 likes on the thought. Another person added, "How do you manage to make it both disturbing and boring at the same time..."

One person even posted their hot take in the comments: "Epoxy resin floors are Millennials' carpet over hardwood. so tragic." Even after scrolling for some time through the comments, we could not find a single positive one.

However, Brown is not letting the negative comments get him down. In the caption of one of his posts after this one, he wrote, "Let the people hate and keep building." At least he has a positive outlook on it. Besides, if you love it in your home, then that is the opinion that matters most.
