Indy Eleven coach Mark Lowry steps down after 2 seasons, leading team back to playoffs

Indy Eleven is parting ways with its head coach Mark Lowry.

On Tuesday, the club announced Lowry stepped down after two seasons at the helm. Lowry became the fourth permanent head coach in the club's history when he was hired on Nov. 16, 2021.

The Eleven made the playoffs in 2023 for the first time since the 2019 season.

"Indy Eleven would like to thank Lowry for his service with the club and wish him the very best in his future endeavors," the club said in a statement.

During Lowry's tenure as head coach, Indy went 25-28-15. Indy Eleven noted a search for a new head coach would begin immediately.
