Indianapolis is one of the cheapest cities for this Super Bowl fan-favorite snack

The beloved Super Bowl that Americans across the country have been waiting for is almost here, and the only thing better than football is the game-day snacks that come with it.

A fan favorite Super Bowl snack, chicken wings, are popular across the country, and it’s estimated that Americans will consume 1.45 billion chicken wings during the Super Bowl LVII weekend, according to the National Chicken Council.

But where can you find the most affordable chicken wings? Turns out Indianapolis is one of the cheapest places to get these delicious snacks.

According to a study from Betway, Indianapolis is the fifth-best city in the U.S. for takeout wings. On average, six wings cost $8.09, the third lowest price in the study. Furthermore, the city has 338 locations to deliver chicken wings right to your home.

What other cities have the best prices on wings?

The four cities ranking higher for chicken wings in the U.S. are Baltimore, Nashville, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

Betway conducted the study by creating a seedlist of the top 50 cities in the U.S. and using Uber Eats data for the best takeout cities. For the wings category, the price of buffalo wings from the top five restaurants in each city was gathered before calculating the average cost for six wings. The number of restaurants offering the food was also greatly considered.
