Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks prediction: Who will win Game 1 in NBA playoffs?

The Indiana Pacers look to take home-court advantage with a Game 1 victory in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the New York Knicks on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

Here's how Dustin Dopirak, our Pacers beatwriter, views Game 1.

Pacers vs. Knicks prediction: Who wins Game 1 Monday night?

Dopirak: I think the Pacers can win a game in the Garden in this series, I'm just not sure they can do it in Game 1. Jalen Brunson is on a roll after three straight games with 40 points or more to close out the first round against Philadelphia. They had five other guys averaging double figures in the Philadelphia series. They're 20-3 when O.G. Anunoby is healthy and the Pacers didn't have to deal with him at all in their three regular season games. I don't expect the Pacers to have the same kind of Game 1 freakout that they did against the Bucks, but I still think the playoffs at the Garden is going to take some getting used to. Wouldn't be surprised if they win Game 2 on Wednesday, but think they'll need to adjust first. Knicks 105, Pacers 98.
