IKEA

If there's one thing we know about a good IKEA item, it's that it never really goes out of style. That's why we've been so happy about the retailer's ongoing collection of archival furniture and decor. IKEA has already done three drops for Nytillverkad, it's 80th Anniversary Collection, and each one has been filled with exciting revivals of items from the '60s to the '90s. It's fourth drop, however, might just be our favorite one yet. It's filled with timeless pieces, like an armchair that could fit into virtually any living room, a pendant shade that would be the perfect finishing touch in any dining room or breakfast nook, and lots more. Check out our favorite pieces from the most recent Nytillverkad drop.

ORRESLÄTT Armchair

It's hard to believe this rattan chair was first featured in IKEA's 1959 catalog, because it would look so chic in almost any home today. The design has us dreaming of sitting in this chair on a screened-in porch with a fresh lemonade in hand on a summer day—but we'd love to see it in a cozy apartment corner just the same.

TURBOKASTANJ Mirror

A good mirror can be hard to come by. Even the ones that are rather simple in design, like this square-framed mirror, can end up costing way more than you'd think—especially if you want it to be a decent size. The TURBOKASTANJ mirror, revived from the 1978 IKEA catalog, is almost 2.5 feet in width and height, making it a great size for hanging in an entryway or using as an accent piece. It also has an almost 3 inch deep ledge, that you can use to display small items. (Plus, the red frame is perfect for trying out the "unexpected red theory" in your home.)

DYKARKLOCKA Pendant Lamp Shade

A good pendant light is like the cherry on top of so many spaces. Whether that's a dining room, a breakfast nook, or a reading corner, pendant lights can heighten the visual interest in a space (literally) and provide light to dull or dark corners. We specifically love that this light shade is neutral in color—offering plenty of styling versatility—while still drawing attention with its unique beehive shape.

SJÄLSÖ Armchair

This type of armchair will always be in style. Revived from the 1990 IKEA catalogue, the SJÄLSÖ armchair is straightforward and functional but still maintains an effortlessly cool look. With the pine frame and natural-colored fabric seat, the chair could easily be incorporated into almost any space, from neutral and minimalistic interiors to colorful and eclectic design aesthetics.

ÖNNESTAD Armchair

Okay, we'll admit it: This chair is a bit more of a statement than the rest of the pieces above. But, if you're looking to add a bold accent to your home, this would be a super fun way to do so. The chair has a simple yet striking frame made from steel tubes and detached cushions (which are sold separately).

There's also a slightly more understated colorway of this chair, with a red frame and beige cushions, but it's already sold out, so you'll have to sign up for alerts to see when that one comes back in stock.
