IHOP is inviting pancake fans to celebrate National Pancake Day with a free short stack.

Dine-in guests can receive three free classic buttermilk pancakes at participating IHOP restaurants nationwide on Tuesday, Feb. 28, the California-based pancake chain announced.

The deal is valid from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time and no purchase is necessary. The pancakes are limited to one free short stack per guest.

“IHOP’s National Pancake Day is a holiday we look forward to celebrating with our guests as an annual tradition,” Kieran Donahue, chief marketing officer for IHOP, said in a statement.

The annual offering comes as IHOP celebrates its 65th anniversary. In January, the restaurant announced the return of the fan-favorite Rooty Tooty Fresh n’ Fruity combo, for a limited time.
