iHeartRadio Country Song of the Year winner coming to Northwest Washington Fair

The Northwest Washington Fair has announced another famous singer to join its concert lineup this summer.

The NW WA Fair will run from Aug. 8-17 in Lynden and has already announced some of its Grandstand Entertainment concerts such as Ludacris, Leeland and Walker Hayes.

Now the fair welcomes Chris Janson, an award-winning country singer, who will join the lineup and perform at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Janson is known for his 2019 chart-topping song, “Buy Me A Boat,” which won the iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year. Since then Janson has released five studio albums, according to a news release from the NW WA Fair.

Tickets for the concert go online at 9 a.m. Friday, April 19, but presale tickets will be available on April 17 for those who subscribe to the fair’s email newsletter.

Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 360-354-4111 or in person at the fair office at 1775 Front St. in Lynden.
