Mother's Day Mosey

Downtown San Angelo will celebrate mothers on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

"Indulge in delicious food, exclusive discounts, and fabulous freebies, because every mom deserves to be celebrated in style," the event's Facebook page said. "Join us for a memorable event filled with love, laughter, and appreciation for all that moms do."

Here's how the event works:

1. Pick up a bingo card at Old Central Firehouse at 200 S. Magdalen2. Get 5 or more stickers from participating locations3. Return bingo card to Texas Angels Boutique at 221 S. Chadbourne to be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket.

Here are the participating locations:

  • Old Central Firehouse Pizzeria & Taproom: Free Mimosas for all mothers

  • Mandala Den: Salt room and products 10% off for mothers. Carefully selected teas and refreshments.

  • Circuit Breaker Arcade Bar: Free vintage comics with every drink purchase. Comics come with a 5% off coupon for private event fees, includes birthdays, graduations or any other event requested.

  • Casa Decor: Beer and wine, live music, snacks and chance to win the door prize.

  • Texas Angels Boutique: Free margaritas, 15% off original price item (excludes sterling silver jewelry).

  • Froyo Sweets Downtown: Free MOM-ba candy bar to participants and 10% off store items.

  • Fuentes Café: $20 Mom Meal of beef carnitas with Spanish sauce, rice and beans, and a slice of chocolate cake. Twelve-ounce $5 house margaritas all weekend from Thursday through Saturday.

  • Trufant Bros. Tattoos with Lovelia: $40 select flash tattoos.

  • Myers Boutique: 40% off entire boutique. Restrictions may apply.

  • Whiskey River Saloon: Free mimosas.

Mother's Day Brunch at the Penny

A Mother's Day Brunch is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday at The Penny Tap House, 2412 College Hills Blvd., Suite 100. There will be a build-your-own bloody Mary bar and a spread of breakfast and lunch favorites. For more information, call 325-949-5161.

Mother's Day Brunch Buffet at Angry Cactus

A Mother's Day Brunch Buffet will be served at the Angry Cactus from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday at 1 W. Concho Ave.

Menu items include: rosemary crusted roast beef, Asian style orange chicken, grilled steak with rosemary and mushrooms, Chef’s cereal bar with all the fixings, omelets and eggs your way and much more. Mimosas and bloody Mary’s will be on special.

The cost is $28 per person. Reservations are recommended. Call 325-703-6999.

Mother's Day in the Park

A mom's celebration will be at Kirby Park, 1401 Edmund Blvd, at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. There will be food, games, fellowship and gifts.
