Idalou boys, Shallowater girls win District 2-3A track meet: Results from Abernathy

ABERNATHY — The Idalou boys and Shallowater girls comfortably won the team titles at the District 2-3A track and field meet, which concluded Friday at Antelope Stadium.

Powered by two relay wins, the Wildcats ran away with 187 points. Roosevelt took second place with 90.

The Fillies also won two relays and took the district title with 202 points. Childress, which held a slight edge after Thursday's field events and 3,200 meters, finished as runner-up with 127.
