A team of deputies in Florida brought their community a little early cheer by sharing troves of Thanksgiving jokes on TikTok.

“This is hysterical,” one viewer commented.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office posted its first video in the series, which was full of Thanksgiving “dad jokes,” on Nov. 20.

“Which side of the turkey has the most feathers?” one deputy starts the video, then turns to the camera with a sly smirk. “The outside.”

Other humorous videos from the sheriff’s office have gotten thousands of views, including one reminding citizens to lock their doors under any circumstances.

“You guys are always my favorite officers,” one person commented. “Stay safe and happy thanksgiving.”

The sheriff’s office posted part one and part two, indicating that more Thanksgiving and holiday jokes may pop up on the page.

“Thank you HCSO for sharing the laughs & sharing the love! Happy Thanksgiving,” one person said on Facebook. Another added, in response to the corny jokes, “Please, don’t give up your day jobs.”

Hernando County is about 55 miles north of Tampa.
