The Miami Hurricanes, who already have bolstered their lines and cornerback with veteran additions this offseason, have now turned their attention elsewhere.

Former Southern Cal receiver Gary Bryant, one of the top receivers in the transfer portal, will visit UM on Friday before moving on to Texas A&M on Sunday, according to 247 Sports.

Bryant, 5-10, was a four-star receiver coming out of Corona, California, in 2020; Rivals rated him the No. 7 receiver in that class.

Bryant had seven catches for 51 in five games as a freshman, then had 44 catches for 579 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games in 2021. He played in only three games last season to preserve a year of eligibility.

He averaged 25.1 yards on 26 kickoff returns and 4.2 on 13 punt returns.

Bryant is most dangerous in the slot but also can play on the boundary. The Hurricanes have said they need two boundary receivers. They’re already in good shape in the slot with Xavier Restrepo and Brashard Smith.

Oregon tight end Cam McCormick also is visiting UM this weekend, per multiple recruiting sites. He recently was granted a ninth year of eligibility after sustaining season-ending injuries in four of his eight seasons.

McCormick, whose time at Oregon intersected with Mario Cristobal’s, has 18 catches for 169 yards and four touchdowns in his college career. Last season, the 6-5, 251-pound McCormick had 10 catches for 66 yards. He’s considered a skilled blocker.

UM has six tight ends on scholarship: Elijah Arroyo, Jaleel Skinner, Kahlil Brantley, Dom Mammarelli and freshmen Riley Williams and Jackson Carver.
