Hull's walk-off heroes: Vote for the High School Baseball Player of the Week
AMSA's Trevor Petty has been voted the High School Baseball Player of the Week.
The sophomore received over 15,600 votes to earn the honor. He struck out 8 batters and tossed a 4-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Douglas. He chipped in 3 hits in an 11-3 win over Worcester Tech.

Nick Tiani + Luke Dunham, Hull: Both Pirates had walk-offs last week. In a 4-3 win over Quincy, Tiani sealed the win with a bases-loaded sacrifice fly. Dunham had 2 hits and 2 runs scored. In a 3-2 win over South Shore Tech, Dunham had a 2-run walk-off double with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Jordan Medeiros, Jr., Avon: Medeiros starred on the mound and at the plate in a 5-2 win over Rising Tide. Medeiros struck out 13 and allowed 2 hits. Offensively, he had a triple, 3 runs and 5 stolen bases.
Scott Longo, Jr., Milton: Longo struck out 15 batters over 5 ⅓ innings of work in a 4-0 loss to Newton North.
Cam Fryer, Pembroke: Fryer had a walk-off single in the eighth inning in a 3-2 win over Hingham.
Gill Dolan, Sr., Weymouth: Dolan became Weymouth's all-time hits lead, collecting his 92 career hit in a loss against Walpole.

Andrew Gillis + Shane Kelleher + Owen Lane, Canton: All three Bulldogs had 3 hits and 2 RBIs in a 13-3 win over Stoughton.
Derek Lopes, Sr., Carver: Lopes had 4 RBIs in an 8-6 win over Cohasset.
Joshua Turcotte, Sr., Archbishop Williams: Turcotte belted his first career home run and had 5 RBIs in a 10-0 win over Cardinal Spellman. He also had a double.
Jack Arthur + Derek Hatherley, Srs., Hopkinton: Arthur struck out 12 over a complete game and allowed just two hits with one walk in a 1-0 victory against Holliston on Saturday, while Hatherley drove in Ryan Lang (single) for the winning run in the fourth inning. In a 10-1 win over Norwood, Hatherley had two hits and three RBIs and earned the win on the mound with nine strikeouts over five innings, allowing just two hits and two walks. In a 1-0 win over Oakmont, Hatherley had one inning of hitless relief and Jack Arthur struck out two over two innings and allowed just one hit.
Max Boehm, Fr., Wellesley: Boehm allowed just two hits and one earned run with five strikeouts to earn the 4-3 win for the Raiders over Braintree.
Josh Bouchard, Soph., Bellingham: Bouchard scored three runs and stole two bases for the Blackhawks and threw a scoreless first inning in a 6-0 win over Medway.
Austin Campbell, Sr., Franklin: Campbell struck out 13 over six innings, allowing two walks, in a 9-3 win over King Philip. He also struck out six in 4 ⅔ innings, allowing just two hits and two runs, in a 6-2 win over Stoughton.
Luis Ferreras, Jr., Marlborough: Ferreras homered on a 2-for-3 day, as the Panthers beat Fitchburg 14-3. Ferraras drove in five runs, scored two and stole a base for Marlborough.
Teddy Ferrucci, Sr., Natick: Ferrucci threw all eight innings in a 3-2, extra-innings upset win over Braintree. Ferrucci allowed just one earned run, three hits and two walks with four strikeouts.
Brayden Lewis, Jr., Hopedale: Lewis went 2-for 2-with a three-run double in the top of the fourth and two runs in a 7-4 win over AMSA. He also had two hits in a loss to Northbridge and two hits with a double and an RBI in an 8-4 win over Sutton.
Matt Mahoney, Sr., Lincoln-Sudbury: Mahoney drove in two runs and scored one on a 2-for-3 day in a 5-2 win over Weston. He also struck out 12 over five innings against just three hits in a 7-1 victory over Waltham.
Jack Marino, Soph., Blackstone Valley Tech: Marino struck out 11 in a shutout, as the Beavers beat Bay Path 3-0. Marino also was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer. He also doubled and scored a run in a 2-0 win over Millbury.
Zach Meehl, Sr., Algonquin: Meehl went 4-for-4 with three RBIs in an 8-1 win over Westborough.
Jackson Shusda, Soph., Dover-Sherborn: Shusda drove in three runs on two hits for the Raiders and also pitched 4 2/3 innings in a 6-4 win over Norton.
Robby White, Sr., Framingham: White homered and had two RBIs for the Flyers in a 3-2 win over Newton North. He also had a hit and scored a run in a low to Weymouth.
