Hulk Hogan’s son was arrested for DUI again. Here’s what he was doing hours before

Clearwater Police Department

We are learning more about the night that Nick Hogan was arrested on suspicion of DUI last weekend in Clearwater, Florida.

The 33-year-old was at his famous father Hulk Hogan’s bar called Hogan’s Hangout, helping to judge a bikini contest that started at 10 p.m. Friday.

On the popular venue’s Instagram page, the wrestling legend, 70, invites women in the community to come out for the competition, which offered a $3,000 grand prize. In footage posted to TMZ, Nick can be seen at the bash, smiling while working the turntables.

It’s unclear what time the video was taken, but hours later, Nick Hogan was behind bars.

According to an arrest affidavit from the Clearwater Police Department, at a little past 1 a.m. Saturday, officers conducted a traffic stop on Hogan, who was behind the wheel of a 2021 Dodge Ram, going 51 mph in a 40-mph zone.

The 33 year old (born Nicholas Bollea) did not immediately pull over, the report says. When the truck eventually came to a stop, cops noted he had bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled of a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage.”

After failing field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody, and bonded out for $500. This was the DJ’s second DUI arrest in Clearwater. In August 2007 at the age of 17, the “Hogan Knows Best” star was involved in a serious accident that left his friend, John Graziano, with a traumatic brain injury.

Hogan served eight months and was sentenced to five years’ probation; Graziano’s family sued and the case was later settled for roughly $5 million.

You won’t hear about Hogan’s next club gigs, unless you’re already a follower. His account has been set to private.
