HTeaO to open third Lubbock location, with free tea celebration

HTeaO fans in south Lubbock will have a closer location on Friday, and a chance to get free tea as part of the third location's grand opening celebration.

The tea shop, which recently started selling coffee, will open a third location at 5105 98th St. with an event from noon-8 p.m. on Friday, April 19. Between noon-2 p.m., customers can get a free tea.

"People who have never had it before can enjoy free tea," said Natalie Snow, director of operations for Lubbock HTeaOs locations. "My favorite flavor is half Sweet Georgia Peach and half Sweet Mint. It's amazing."

The opening celebration will include booths from other local businesses and food trucks.

"We're super excited to show what we have and show who we are, not just as a tea shop but as a part of the community," Snow said.

The new location will also have new Texas-themed HTeaO merchandise and Cole Hauser's Free Rein Coffee Company's coffee line.
