House of the Dragon devotees: Prepare for scaly beasts on an epic scale.

A video, released Thursday by HBO, features many of the series’ cast offering an in-depth preview of what life in Westeros will look like when Season 2 premieres on Sunday, June 16 (9/8c).

“There’s more of a sense of the world, more of a sense of the kingdoms,” Olivia Cooke says as we see behind-the-scenes footage. “I noticed rapid expansion of the physical set,” Emma D’Arcy observes.

Plus, there are “loads more dragons,” adds Tom Glynn-Carney.

In the forthcoming, eight-episode season, “There is a war brewing,” showrunner Ryan Condall says int he video above. “We were excited to get into it, because this is the juicy part of the drama.”

He and the cast then give a brief explanation of the Dance of the Dragons, aka the battle between the Blacks (Rhaenyra, Daemon) and the Greens (Aegon, the Hightowers). “‘Nuclear’ is the way I’d describe it,” Glynn-Carney says.

Several new cast members will join the fantasy series’ sophomore season. They include Clinton Liberty (Normal People), Jamie Kenna (Coronation Street), Kieran Bew (Warrior), Tom Bennett (After Life), Tom Taylor (The Bay), Vincent Regan (Poldark), Gayle Rankin (GLOW), Freddie Fox (Slow Horses), Simon Russell Beale (Penny Dreadful) and Abubakar Salim (Raised by Wolves).
