Hot dogs, cool cats: Adoptable pets from Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter

Pauline, an almost 5-year-old spayed female, is among the cats available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. May 6 marks one year of searching for her forever family with the Tuscarawas County Humane Society. Pauline is a sweet girl that loves having her cheeks rubbed.

Meredith, a 2.5-year-old spayed female German Shepherd, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. Meredith is a puppy mill rescue. She was adopted and then returned. She has had a rough start. Like many dogs, she doesn't show well in her kennel. She is a much happier girl out of her kennel and would enjoy a family that enjoys time outside. Meredith will not be placed in a home with young children. Adoption hours at the shelter are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
