Which Horry schools had the best, worst in SC report cards? Here’s how they ranked

New report cards from the South Carolina Board of Education revealed how Horry County schools ranked for the first time since 2019.

Every high school, middle school and elementary school in the district received ratings on a 100 point scale. The rankings followed categories outlined by the South Carolina Board of Education — Excellent, Good, Average, Below Average and Unsatisfactory.

The scale is as follows:

Excellent: 61 to 100

Good: 53-60

Average: 42-52

Below Average: 34-41

Unsatisfactory: 33 and below

20.6% of schools recieved an Excellent rating statewide, about the same as what was reported in 2019 according to a press release.

Here’s how Horry County schools ranked in the 2021-22 school year.
