Homegrown Siete Foods the latest sponsor of Austin FC; products coming to Q2 Stadium

The Mexican-American food brand born and raised in Austin, Siete Foods, announced a multi-year partnership with Major League Soccer’s Austin FC that will land Siete products in Q2 Stadium.

As part of the collaboration, Siete will provide a selection of their signature products to Austin FC fans and supporters at Q2 Stadium throughout the 2024 MLS campaign. Also, Beyond being found in concession stands throughout the stadium, Siete will enact a handful of initiatives to get Austin FC fans involved.

Some of the initiatives the brand listed include providing product sampling to attendees at numerous Austin FC home games, supporting multiple youth programs and collaborating to create a new Latino Heritage Month feature — a content series that highlights Hispanic leaders and difference makers in the Austin community.

We have deep roots in Austin and always value opportunities to connect with our local community.”

Siete Foods is no stranger to the soccer space

The partnership is not completely new as Siete already serves as the presenting partner of the Verde Leaders youth soccer program in collaboration with Austin FC’s not-for-profit arm, 4ATX Foundation, at Gus Garcia Young Men's Leadership Academy in Austin.

The Verde Leaders youth development program aims to help low-income youth find personal and academic success. The program is offered at no cost to underprivileged middle school students at local public schools.

To date, Siete has sponsored USWNT athletes Naomi Girma, Sofia Huerta and Ashley Sanchez, as well as San Diego Wave FC, the LA Galaxy, and Surf Cup, a youth soccer tournament in San Diego.

Who is Austin's Siete Foods?

Siete Foods was founded in Austin in 2014 by Veronica Garza — a University of Texas graduate. The idea for the company came about after Garza was diagnosed with autoimmune diseases while in high school and college.

In response, Garza and her family altered typical Mexican recipes to accommodate her health needs. According to the brand's website, the altered recipes were so successful the family decided to create Siete foods, and take their new products to the masses.

Since then, the brand has steadily grown in popularity and can be found in an onslaught of popular grocery stores across the country.
