Home runs and 10-strikeout games: Vote for Columbia area girls athlete of the week

It's time to vote for The Daily Herald's Columbia area girls athlete of the week for April 29-May 3.

Here are the candidates:

Emmy McAdams, Columbia Academy: McAdams went 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and two RBIs in a 9-8 loss last Wednesday. McAdams also went 1-for-3 with a three-RBI home run last Thursday.

Saviya Morgan, Columbia Central: Morgan was 3-for-5 with a double, run, stolen base and three RBIs in a 6-4 win last Monday. Morgan also went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs in a 10-0 win last Thursday.

Phynlee Keeling, Culleoka: Keeling was 1-for-3 with a two-RBI home run in a 10-3 loss to Mt. Pleasant last Wednesday.

Jayla Miller, Independence: Miller was 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs, three RBIs and a stolen base in an 11-1 win last Tuesday. Miller was also 3-for-3 with three runs, two stolen bases and an RBI in an 18-2 win last Wednesday.

Aubrey Ezell, Loretto: Ezell was 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, six RBIs and an additional run in a 10-1 win last Thursday.

Ashlyn Easley, Summit: Easley went 3-for-4 with two doubles, four runs, three stolen bases and an RBI in a 12-9 win over Centennial last Monday.

Anne Marie Richards, Summit: Richards was 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs last Monday. Richards also went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs last Friday.

Claire Boyd, Zion Christian: Boyd was 4-for-4 with two doubles, three runs, five RBIs and a stolen base in a win last Tuesday.

Ashleia Coble, Zion Christian: Coble pitched a no-hitter, striking out 14 batters in seven innings in a 1-0 win last Thursday.

Marleigh McWilliams, Zion Christian: McWilliams pitched a complete game, striking out 15 batters while allowing four hits and one earned run in a 9-1 win last Monday. She was 7-for-9 on the week with a home run, a triple, a double, two RBIs and three additional runs.
