Home and Away's Tristan Gorey addresses Levi being caught out

Home and Away star Tristan Gorey has spoken out about his character, Levi Fowler, finally having his secret affair with Mackenzie Booth exposed.
After Levi treated Mackenzie at the hospital following her heart attack, he embarked on a fling with her – despite being secretly married. While Mac was horrified when she discovered the truth and tried her best to stay away from Levi, the pair soon realised that they couldn't resist each other.
Unfortunately for them, scenes that will air in Australia this week, and in a couple of months' time in the UK, will show Levi's sister Eden Fowler discovering the affair.

"Levi has managed to maintain the secret affair with Mackenzie well," Gorey told TV Week, adding that an incident in which Bree Cameron dances suggestively with Levi at Salt has already made Eden suspicious.
"After the 'incident' at Salt, Eden begins to suspect something is bubbling under the surface," he said. "Luckily for Levi, it's Bree she suspects he's having an affair with – not Mackenzie."
While Levi manages to put Eden off the scent, his situation gets worse again when Eden decides to 'help' her brother get back on track – by inviting his wife, Imogen, to Summer Bay!
"With Imogen in the Bay, it will certainly bring its own unique set of challenges to the 'arrangement' Mackenzie and Levi have," Gorey said, adding that his character will need to be "quick on his feet!"

Sadly for Levi, it isn't long before Eden discovers what's really been going on, and she's horrified by the discovery. Branding her brother a "cheating liar", Eden reminds him that he's done exactly the same thing that their father did when they were young.
But Levi insists that his situation is different, confessing that his marriage to wife Imogen is all but over and that he is really falling for Mac.
"Levi's heart is torn in two when his sister finally finds out about his 'extracurricular activities'," Gorey said. "Part of him is proudly in love with Mackenzie, but the other is disappointed with himself, knowing he's made the same mistake that tore his family apart when he was just a child.

"Having finally earned Eden's trust again, he's devastated when she erupts over what he's done to Imogen. It seems history has repeated itself."
It isn't long before more people discover the shocking truth, including an angry Felicity Newman – and Gorey teased that there could be pain on the way for everyone involved.
"One thing is for certain," he said. "Juggling the trust of three women he cares deeply about will only end in hurt."
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
