Home and Away's Matt Little breaks silence on VJ Patterson return

Home and Away star Matt Little has broken his silence on returning to the show as VJ Patterson.
A recent trailer revealed that VJ will be one of the guests as his mum Leah Patterson ties the knot with Justin Morgan — and we even got a sneak peek at him walking his mother down the aisle.
This is the first appearance for former cast member Matt Little since 2017, when his character VJ moved away to Cyprus with his child Luc.

Discussing his return to Home and Away with Perth Now, Matt said: "It was amazing [working with] long time friends and it was really quite emotional to get to work with people that I haven’t worked with in a long time and I was close to."
The actor joked that the biggest challenge of returning to the series is trying not to spoil Leah and Justin's big day for fans.
"Don’t say anything on social media," the actor said he was told.
VJ isn't the only familiar face appearing at the wedding, as Penny McNamee will be reprising her role as Justin's sister Tori Morgan three years after leaving the soap.
Tori was last seen in Summer Bay in 2021 when she decided to make a life-changing move with her husband Christian Green and her daughter, Grace.

The wedding comes following a hugely tumultuous period for Leah and Justin, as Leah had a mental breakdown due to being kidnapped by the cult Vita Nova. While Leah started to doubt whether she wanted to marry Justin, the couple came back together thanks to encouragement from Valerie Beaumont.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
