Hollyoaks to resolve major teen mystery in new scenes

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Some mysterious phone snatchings in Hollyoaks will come to light in upcoming scenes.

A mystery for several of the teen characters has been subtly brewing in recent weeks, as the kids have been puzzled by some of their mobile phones going missing.

New episodes will finally shed light on who is behind the strange thefts and offer some hints about the motive behind these crimes.

The storyline takes place against the backdrop of the Earl of Dee challenge, where some of the Hollyoaks High students are taking survival courses led by local aristocrat, Rafe Harcourt.

There is a last-minute change in the coaching lineup, as Rafe fobs the job off on Tony Hutchinson and Beau Ramsey at the last minute.

Tony walks into a no-win situation when the teens refuse to participate in the challenge until they get their phones back – as they assume Rafe has been confiscating them.

A nervous Tony has to complete the Earl of Dee challenge all by himself, as the teens concern themselves with the looming announcement of new timetables at school.

Beau eventually does get the Hollyoaks High students to help, as Lucas Hay watches on from the distance. There's another puzzling mystery when Tony discovers his phone has been stolen too.

Tony is keen to keep the situation under control, but when he suggests a meditation session for the students, they manage to sneak off from the workshop instead.

The local councillor is none too pleased that the kids have once again defied him, so he announces their next activity will be… litter picking.

This only angers the teens more, as they refuse to have any part in the Earl of Dee challenge awards process. Tony and Beau are forced to distract Rafe so he doesn't discover the dissension in the ranks.

Rafe shocks Tony by announcing the press will be visiting the next day to document how much progress the students have made. This announcement only piles more stress on an already-dejected Tony.
