Hollyoaks to air disturbing baby Morgan scenes in Frankie story

Hollyoaks will air shocking scenes for baby Morgan as Frankie's storyline continues.

Viewers know that Frankie has been tortured by her twin brother JJ sexually abusing her, leading to her lashing out against her loved ones.

In upcoming scenes, JJ continues trying to exert control over his sister by urging her not to attend her counselling sessions.

Meanwhile, Darren realises the depths of his daughter's despair when finding some of her artwork and tries to broach the subject in her therapy session.

Frankie is put on the spot when she's asked to delve into her night terrors and the heartbreaking depictions in her art.

Back at home, Nancy tells JJ he needs to respect Frankie's boundaries by staying out of her bedroom while she's having these night terrors.

Frankie finally seems to get some relief when she's spending time with friends Vicky and Leah, until JJ lashes out about his football injury.

Following this shocking turn of events, Nancy promises she'll stay with Frankie as long as baby Morgan stays asleep. Frankie is desperate not to be alone so she slips Morgan medicine to make her stay asleep.

Darren is soon horrified to find out Morgan has been sick and now can't be roused from her sleep. Frankie comes clean to JJ, admitting she gave the baby antihistamines so that Nancy wouldn't leave her room.

JJ insists he will keep his sister's secret – no matter what happens to Morgan – but warns her there will be consequences for hiding the truth. The pair let Nancy and Darren believe their half-sibling Oscar accidentally gave Morgan the medicine.

At the hospital, Misbah tells Darren that Morgan had an overdose but will be fine. Frankie continues to struggle with her guilt, even telling JJ she won't perform at a dance recital if he attends.

Later, Donny Clark catches Frankie trying to steal some cash from the marketplace. Mercedes McQueen and Maxine Minniver manage to convince Donny not to press charges, but Frankie is still banned from the market.

At home, Nancy remains deeply concerned about the possibility of Oscar medicating his sister. As Frankie breaks down and begs Nancy for money, her stepmum gives her a lecture on resilience.

This emotional exchange is overheard by Charlie Dean, drawing more suspicion about what's truly going on with Frankie.

The scenes air next week.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
