‘Hog heaven’: Kansas City police help reunite lost Pearl the pig with her owner
After a quick detour Tuesday, one little piggy went wee wee wee all the way back home.
Kansas City police found Pearl the pig Tuesday morning wandering near Shoal Creek Parkway and North Harrison Street in the Staley Meadows neighborhood. Officers put out a call on Twitter, asking anyone with information to help them return the 50 to 60 pound pig to her owner.
We realize the jokes we are opening ourselves up to with this; but it’s worth it if we find her owner…here it goes: Officers found this pig this morning in the street near Shoal Creek and N. Harrison in the Staley Meadows Neighborhood. If anyone knows who she belongs to (1of2) pic.twitter.com/Fp0xhAK6Aw

By about 11 a.m., Pearl and her owner were back together.
“She made it many blocks on her journey,” the police department wrote. “Her name is Pearl and she’s back home and once again in hog heaven with her family.”
