It’s Hispanic Heritage Month. Check out the events you can go to in South Florida

Each year, Americans commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of people whose ancestors are from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Nearly 70% of Miami-Dade County residents are of Hispanic origin, and 75% speak a language other than English at home, with Spanish being the most common. And surprising absolutely no one, Florida has the third-largest population of Hispanics in the U.S. with nearly 6 million, only behind California and Texas.
