Jamita Rosetta has been hired as assistant convention services manager at Sandia Resort & Casino. Rosetta has been in the hospitality industry for seven years. Prior to joining Sandia Resort & Casino, she worked in casino food and beverage, hotel front desk and reservations, hotel sales and catering administration, and hotel sales and convention services management. She has worked at locations such as the Historic La Fonda on the Plaza and at Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resort Collection in Santa Fe. Rosetta is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at New Mexico State University's Global Campus.

Joseph Brown has been named chief operating officer at Lovelace Health System. Brown comes to Lovelace with more than 16 years of healthcare administrative experience. He most recently served as senior vice president of operations at Access Telecare in Austin. Prior to that, he worked Baylor Scott & White Health for 13 years in various leadership roles. Brown received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.

Wayne W. Lindstrom has been named new deputy county manager for Behavioral Health at Bernalillo County. In his new role, Lindstrom will oversee Bernalillo County's Behavioral Health Division, which includes the CARE Campus, the Behavioral Health Initiative, the Tiny Home Village, and the Resource Reentry Center. Lindstrom has more than 50 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He served five years with the New Mexico Department of Human Services and was appointed as chief executive officer of the Behavioral Health Collaborative. Most recently, Lindstrom served as the vice president of business development and consulting for RI International, a nonprofit headquartered in Phoenix. Lindstrom holds a doctorate from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Case Western Reserve University. He earned a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University.

Danette Townsend has been named deputy county manager for the Community Services Division at Bernalillo County. In this role, Townsend will oversee services such as, parks, recreation and open space, cultural affairs and marketing, communications services, housing, senior and social services, and planning and development. Townsend has been serving as interim deputy county manager for the division since December. Prior to that, she led the ABC Community Schools as the executive director for five years. She serves co-chair of the New Mexico Coalition for Community Schools and has more than 25 years of experience in youth development, youth prevention and intervention, and community school development.

Promotion

Sean Murphy has been promoted to family support services/training program manager at Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc. In his new role, Murphy is responsible for the coordination and daily administration of the Family Support Services Program. Including program and budget development, as well as personnel supervision and consultation. This position provides overall coordination and consultation of all Family Support Services provided.

Carlos Perea, chief executive officer and co-founder of Terra Vera, has joined the board of directors at VARA Winery and Distillery. Perea is active in the Young Presidents Organization and is an advisor to several New Mexico-based impact organizations, including Skoden Ventures. Founded in 2016, VARA is an Albuquerque-based urban winery and distillery.
