Will Hilton Head’s Tiki Hut bar be open for Memorial Day? Here’s when music and drinks will start

Hilton Head’s iconic beach bar and restaurant, the Tiki Hut, will reopen May 24 after eight months of closure for $13 million in renovations, according to spokesperson Sheena Martin.

The bar at the Beach House Hilton Head Island resort near Coligny Beach Park will have 10 feet of added space compared to the original bar and expanded food and drink menus. Dogs will still be allowed at the outside bar, which features live music, except for between Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, but they’ll open at 3 p.m. Friday.
