Hilary Duff Shares Candid Photos From Her Fourth Child’s Emotional Water Birth

Hilary Duff is a mom of four.
The Lizzie McGuire star welcomed her fourth child, a girl, via home birth earlier this month, and shared candid photos Tuesday from the emotional experience.
In the black-and-white images, Duff is seen holding her little newborn inside a tub at her home, moments after the little girl was born. Next to Duff are her midwife and her husband, Matthew Koma. In one sweet snap, Duff is seen kissing Koma while holding their child.
“Townes Meadow Bair 🧸, now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!” Duff captioned an Instagram post with the photos. “I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic. We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty.”

Koma also shared a post on his Instagram, paying tribute to the mother of his children and joking about their new daughter’s appearance. “My literal warrior goddess of a wife gave birth to our beautiful Townes Meadow Bair at home on 5/3/24. She’s happy, healthy, chunky and looks like nobody in our genetic pool so if anyone knows of @hilaryduff’s whereabouts roughly 9 months ago to date, please reach out for a cash reward,” he wrote alongside the same beautiful photos.
Duff and Koma married in 2019 after years of on-and-off dating. Apart from baby girl Townes, they also share daughter Banks Violet, five, whom they welcomed in 2018, and daughter Mae James, three, who was born in 2021. The actor also has a son, 12-year-old Luca, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
