High school football: TRAC team falls out of The Bee’s Top 25 and three new schools enter
Clovis North, following its win over Clovis, holds on to the top spot in the latest Fresno Bee high school football rankings.
The Broncos won 24-7, sending the Cougars four spots down to No. 12.
Taking their place at No. 8 is Lemoore after its win over Mission Oak.
Teams moving up in the top 5 include Clovis East to No. 3 and Sanger one spot to No. 4.
The Timberwolves outlasted No. 7 Clovis West 42-22. The Apaches rolled past Edison 31-0.
Hanford moves to No. 10 after beating No. 22 Tulare Union.
For the first time this season, Buchanan dropped out of the rankings following a 27-6 loss to Central.
The Bears were ranked No. 13 but have lost two straight and are 2-5.
Two other teams dropped out: Garces (2-5) and Stockdale (3-4).
Making their debut in the rankings this season are No. 23 Tehachapi (8-0), No. 24 San Luis Obispo (5-3) and No. 25 Mission Prep (6-1).
