"Beetlejuice" follows Barbara and Adam Maitland, portrayed by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin, as they navigate the afterlife. To rid their home of the Deetz family, they enlist the help of the mischievous demon Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton.
Released on March 30, 1988, and directed by Tim Burton, the movie has become a beloved classic. According to IMDb, it’s Michael Keaton’s favorite film of his own. Interestingly, the studio initially wanted to name the film "House Ghosts," but as a joke, Tim Burton suggested "Scared Sheetless" and was shocked when the studio actually considered it.
The sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" is set to release Friday, Sept. 6, only in theaters.
