Here's how to throw your own Taylor Swift-themed Super Bowl party

Before we know it, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will be in Las Vegas to face off in Super Bowl LVIII.

Some may groan over the spotlight put on Taylor Swift, but her fans across the nation are gearing up for the big game. While Taylor herself has a performance scheduled in Tokyo that day, and many are unsure if she'll make it in time to root for beau Travis Kelce, her fans are looking to celebrate the occasion nonetheless, deeming it the "Swiftie Bowl."

If you're looking to throw an extravagant Taylor Swift-themed Super Bowl party this year, here are some ways you can make it a hit:

Use red, gold and white decorations

If you're looking to throw your own Taylor Swift-themed Super Bowl party, then chances are you'll be rooting on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. So make sure you incorporate red and yellow décor throughout the party, including table covers, streamers and balloons.

Fans have been creating their own "In My Super Bowl Era" banners out of red and yellow paper plates. Or you can get a set of photo booth prop signs, which have sayings like "Loving him was red" and "Friend zone to end zone."

Snack on some red food and other themed treats

If you'd like to lean into the red theme − luckily, the color Swift is best known for − then you can opt to incorporate a variety of red foods in your gameday spread. This can include red frosted cookies and cupcakes, as well as stuffed red peppers, meatballs and chocolate-covered strawberries.

You can also choose to incorporate foods that can be named after her songs. Serve your guests some Pigs in a "Cardigan," Wing of My Heart buffalo wings ("King of My Heart") and some New York pizza slices ("Welcome to New York").

Enjoy one of her favorite drinks

It's only fitting to have some of Swift's favorite drinks at the party. The mega-star has previously said that Diet Coke and vodka is her drink of choice, which is a simple option.

But if you're looking for something a bit more complex, you can offer a French Blonde, which the Washington Post reported was another one of her favorite drinks. This cocktail consists of gin, grapefruit juice, St-Germain liquer and Lillet.

Another option is one that is themed after Swift's Eras Tour: Lavender Haze. This drink includes gin, lavender honey syrup and lemonade.

Play Taylor Swift-themed Super Bowl bingo

Incorporating games into the party is another way to spice up the Super Bowl for your guests.

On Etsy, you can get custom Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-themed bingo cards. While not solely consisting of references to the couple, each box of the bingo card has a different item that could possibly happen during the Super Bowl, such as touchdown by a specific player or an interception by a specific team.

You can even put together some small prizes for any guests that are able to hit bingo.

Make friendship bracelets as party favors

Every good party has some souvenirs that guests can take with them once it's over. Because trading colorful beaded friendship bracelets have become a trend for attendees during Swift's Eras tour, you can incorporate that into your party.

You can set up an area with beads in a variety of different colors, letters, shapes and sizes, and have your guests make their own to take home with them. If you'd like to be more on-theme with the occasion, you can strictly offer red, yellow and white beads.
