Thursday

Olde Courthouse Catacombs and House of Lecter

Oct. 26-31, Nov. 3-4; Fourth and Vine streets, and 325 Main St., 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Thursday, 7-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, $20 for individual tickets to either haunted house or $30 for unlimited trips on night of tour.

Downtown Evansville's scariest haunted house is back and ready to put a fright into citizens. Walk through creepy corridors of the dungeon to see the scariest parts of the building.

Halloween Illuminations

Thursday through Sunday, 6 p.m., Rivertown Trail in Newburgh, Indiana. Tickets are $5 per person.

A nightly, self-guided tour of the woods along the red bridge of the Rivertown Trail in Newburgh. The trail will feature family-friendly ghosts, carved pumpkins and lights for the Halloween season.

Tri-State Amateur Comedy Contest

8 p.m., Jennings Street Public House, 300 W. Jennings St. in Newburgh. Free.

This series will feature 40 amateur comedians from the community each doing three to five minutes of original material.

Friday

Boo at the Zoo

Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden, 2421 Bement Ave. Tickets are $8.

Enjoy the zoo and botanic garden for Halloween fun. Live music and entertainment, dΓ©cor, trick or treating, animal encounters and more will happen each night. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. Tickets must be purchased online and will not be sold at the gate.

Rocky Picture Horror Show

Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and midnight, STAGEtwo at 321, 321 N Congress Ave. Tickets are $15.

This Halloween tradition is back for its ninth year of the cult classic featuring mayhem, horror and comedy. Audience members are encouraged to participate with outfits, props, and favorite callback lines.

Gabriel Iglesias

Saturday

Tri-State Woodcarvers Show

Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, 201 E. Boonville New Harmony Road. Admission is $3; children 12 and under are free.

Woodcarvers from the Tri-State will show off and sell hand- and power-carved items, wood turnings, wood-burned items, wood carvings, tools, books and more.

Evansville Farmers Market

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Washington Square Mall in Evansville. Free.

Come out to shop from local farm and small business vendors, grab food from a food truck, and get into the Halloween spirit.

Halloween Stroll and Trunk or Treat Car Show

11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Main Street from Third Street to Sixth Street. Free.

This Downtown event has something for the whole family. Car show participants will fall into categories such as Best Chevy, Mopar, Truck, Motorcycle, Best of Show, and more. Register at events@downtownevansville.com or at the main tent during the show in the 300 block of Main Street. Additional events include costume contests for family, kids, and dogs, kids Halloween crafts, face painting and spooky live entertainment.

Dia De Los Muertos celebration

11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Evansville Museum, 411 SE Riverside Drive. Free.

Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at the Evansville Museum with live dance performances, scavenger hunts, the opportunity to explore the Mexican Mask exhibition, and more.

Walk Thru Boo

1 to 3 p.m., Washington Square Mall in Evansville. Free.

Non-profit Voices Inc. features an optional costume and walk-through event in a blocked-off part of the parking lot.

Dia de los Muertos 2023

Dia de los Muertos will be celebrated in Henderson Saturday.

4 to 7 p.m., Central Park in Henderson, Kentucky, 10 S Main St. Free.

Celebrate the Mexican holiday with face painting, crafts, a NorteΓ±o band, live performances by traditional dancers, a kids parade, food trucks, a beer garden and a candlelight procession honoring loved ones who have passed on.

Los Chicos del 512: The Selena Experience

7 p.m., Victory Theatre, 600 Main St., Tickets range from $22 to $48

Bringing together new and old fans of Selena, the members of Los Chicos del 512 put on a tribute concert of the late singer.

Sunday

Halloween bash

Noon to 4 p.m., Evansville Wartime Museum, 7503 Petersburg Road. Tickets are $11 for adults, $8 for youth, and free for children 5 and under.

The second annual Halloween bash has a costume contest, a skeleton scavenger hunt with treats, face painting, crafts and more.

Trick or Treat event

4 to 6 p.m., City Church, 314 Market St in Evansville. Free.

City Church is hosting a family-friendly event where you can bring your children dressed up in their spookiest costumes to get candy.

The Guess Who

7 p.m., Old National Events Plaza, 715 Locust St. Tickets are $34 to $54.

Canadian rock band The Guess Who, known for their 1970 album "American Woman," is stopping in Evansville for a night of their biggest hits.
