Here's Honesdale High School's 2024 prom court. Royalty will be crowned Saturday

For 2024, the Honesdale High School prom will be held in downtown Honesdale on Saturday, May 11.

A court of five candidates for prom queen and five candidates for prom king have been announced. The eager announcement of who will be crowned as royalty will have to wait for the prom, a social highlight of the year for many high school students.

This year's prom court includes seniors Claire Campen, Amanda Kuta, Brenna Dahlgren, Makayla Cobourn, Angelina Martinelli, Grant Tonkin, Peter Modrovsky, Nathaniel Greene, Joel Landry and Freedom Beckwith.

Each of these students were previously announced as being on either the honor roll or the distinguished honor roll for the second quarter of 2024.

This year's prom is being held right at 6th & River, a unique event space created in a restored, historic and repurposed factory building overlooking the Lackawaxen River. The prom is slated from 6 to 10 p.m.
