All Episodes of 1923's First Season Are Now Streaming

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford are officially part of the Yellowstone universe. The A-list actors star as Jacob and Cara Dutton in 1923, the newest Yellowstone prequel. Per Paramount+, "The series will explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home."
Ford's Jacob Dutton is the brother of James Dutton (Tim McGraw), from 1883, another Yellowstone prequel. "He’s the silverback," Ford says of Jacob. "He’s responsible for that branch of the family. These are two people with a very strong bond to each other who are facing really complicated circumstances."
Of Jacob and Cara's marriage, he shares, "Their lives are totally wrapped up in each other. There’s very little that sustains them other than themselves and the hard work and investment they put into their future and their family. It is a tough life, and it’s full of not just physical challenges but moral ones as well."
There are eight episodes in the first season of 1923, and they released semi-weekly on Sundays on Paramount+. The show took a brief hiatus in January, but returned in February with the back half of the season.
"To be able to be a part of a franchise in a world that is so singular on American television is very exciting. There’s nothing else quite like it," Mirren told The Hollywood Reporter.

The show does not end with the season one finale, however: 1923 will be returning for a second season, and hopefully many of the questions about the Dutton family history will be answered. No premiere date has been announced yet for 1923 season two.
