Here's when 'American Pickers' is returning to Kansas and how to get on the show

The antique enthusiasts from the History Channel's "American Pickers" TV series will return to Kansas in June, and they are looking for collectors interested in being on the show.

"American Pickers" follows Mike Wolfe, Robbie Wolfe, Danielle Colby and "Jersey Jon" as they travel the country "picking" through antiques while looking for rare or historically significant items to add to their collections.

The reality TV series kicked off in 2010 and has aired for 25 seasons, according to a news release.

"As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics," the release said. "Along the way, they want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way."

The show's 19th season included dickering with D.E. Lacer, of Junction City, while looking over his collection of cars and vehicle accessories.

"His father handed down the passion to him, and it's something that still keeps the wheels rolling," Mike Wolfe said of Lacer during that episode.

What will 'American Pickers' consider?

"American Pickers" will consider featuring only private collections and not flea markets, stores, malls, museum, auctions or other businesses open to the public.

To inquire, call the show's production team at 646-493-2184 or email it at AmericanPickers@cineflix.com.

Collectors should be prepared to share their full name, city and state, contact information and a brief description of their collection.
