Heartstopper and Bridgerton stars' new movie confirms release date with first teaser
How to Date Billy Walsh, starring Heartstopper's Sebastian Croft and Bridgerton's Charithra Chandran, has confirmed its release date with a new teaser.
The Prime Video rom-com follows childhood best friends Amelia (Chandran) and Archie (Croft), though Amelia has no idea that Archie has secretly been in love with her for years.
When Amelia falls hopelessly in love with new student Billy Walsh (Cobra Kai's Tanner Buchanan) the heartbroken Archie does everything in his power to sabotage their blossoming romance.

The teaser trailer, which offers a brief glimpse of the leading trio in action, also confirms the film's Prime Video release on April 5, after it was previously delayed from its original release date of September 8, 2023.
Other cast members include The Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar, Nick Frost, Guz Khan, Motherland's Lucy Punch and newcomer Daisy Jelley.
Meanwhile, Alex Sanjiv Pillai, who has worked on a number of TV shows including Bridgerton, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, directs.

Croft is perhaps best known for his role as Ben Hope in Netflix's hit coming-of-age series Heartstopper, though it was confirmed last year that he won't return for season three after his character's arc concluded in season two.
Chadran, who shot to fame after starring as Edwina Sharma in Bridgerton season two, is set to make her West End debut in a one-woman show titled Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon.
The actress has also landed a role in the upcoming TV drama Arzu, which has Bridgerton screenwriter Geetika Lizardi attached as showrunner.
