Three of the 108 Arlington restaurants inspected from Sept. 4 to Sept. 10 were temporarily closed due to serious health code violations, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

The three restaurants closed were Paris Bakery at 807 W. Park Row Drive, Escondido Night Club at 3015 Howell St. and Taste of Thai at 2535 E. Arkansas Lane.

While none of those restaurants received a failing score, the city required them to close because of health code violations. Arlington does not include detailed information in its reports about what specific violations were found during inspections.

One restaurant failed its inspection on Sept. 10. Vu Truong Chieu Tim at 2535 E. Arkansas Lane received a score of 64 out of 100. In Arlington, restaurants that receive a score of 70 or lower are considered to have performed extremely poorly.

Three restaurants received perfect scores, all of them in the shopping center at 1650 E. Randol Mill Road.:

  • Backyard

  • Lockhart Smokehouse

  • Troy’s

The kitchens at Arlington Memorial Hospital also received a perfect score.
