Hattie B's is coming to Austin, partners with Loro Asian Smokehouse for special menu

A Nashville favorite is coming to Austin — and teaming up with a popular Asian restaurant for a limited time.

Hattie B's Hot Chicken is set to open in early 2024, according to its website, with When Where What Austin reporting February as the opening month. But in the meantime, Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar in Austin, as well as in Houston, Dallas and Addison, will offer a special Hattie-centric menu from Feb. 1-4.

The limited-time menu will include a hot chicken rice bowl, hot chicken sandwich, oak smoked collards, popping sesame noodles, frozen painkiller boozy slushee, Drinking Buddy Golden Ale from a previous Hattie B's partnership with Jackalope Brewing Company and wonton chips with Drinking Buddy cheese dip.

The collaboration will also include exclusive merchandise such as t-shirts and cups.

Hattie B's Hot Chicken will open at 2529 South Lamar Blvd., becoming the chain's second Texas location alongside Dallas.
