Harry Potter: The Exhibition is taking a portkey to Boston, here's what you need to know

For people who feel their Hogwarts letter got lost in the mail, this might be for you.

An interactive experience with costumes and props from the movies, Harry Potter: The Exhibition is coming to Boston this fall, according to the exhibition's website.

"Harry Potter: The Exhibition is a touring experience that delights fans worldwide with authentic film props, exclusive behind-the-scenes looks, and fun interactive surprises to find," the website said.

The exhibition is planned to have recreations of places from the famous franchise available for visitors to immerse themselves in like the Cupboard Under the Stairs, Hagrid's hut and more.

Costumes from the Harry Potter films like the house robes and movie props like the Quibbler magazine will be on display for visitors to see, the website said.

How to buy tickets

The tickets for the interactive experience will go on sale on May 16, and the experience will launch for ticket-holders on September 13, 2024.

The website said adult tickets will start at $25 plus tax and fees. Tickets for children start at $19 plus tax and fees. Tickets can be bought here.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition also has locations in New York City, São Paulo, Macao and Munich.
