Harlow's event downtown is not a problem for Hike, Bike and Paddle. They could coexist.

Mayor still a little "green" at understanding this event which I have enjoyed since the beginning and will miss this year. This special event draws thousands of citizens from all over the city to downtown which we need and ride together to our parks. He stated that he did not want to compete with other events? Actually these events benefit from the crowds being downtown and many attend these events afterward. Jack Harlow's event on great lawn? Not a problem. I have had many start and end at University of Louisville rowing center. This event also has major corporate funding sponsors. There's no reason this long-standing event enjoyed and attended by so many should have been cancelled.
