Happy Dough Lucky opening soon in Bay View, but for now, their trailer is open there

Happy Dough Lucky mini-donut and coffee shop is opening a new location in Bay View at 2691 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.

It's unclear when it'll open, but a post on the shop's Facebook post Sunday said it's operating out of its trailer at the Kinnickinnic Avenue location as renovations to the building continue.

Andrew Swofford opened Happy Dough Lucky at the Mequon Public Market in 2019. It's leaving Mequon to focus fully on the Bay View location.

"We want to thank the Mequon/Thiensville community for all the love and support the past 4+ years," Happy Dough Lucky's website reads. "Our heart is full."

Happy Dough Lucky's trailer can also be found throughout events around Milwaukee and it offers catering through its mini-donut bar.
