‘Hamilton,’ Les Mis, Cher: Here are the Broadway shows coming to Miami next season

Two South Florida premieres, one Miami premiere and two old favorites are on the schedule for the Broadway in Miami 2023-2024 season at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

The season kicks off in December with “Pretty Woman: The Musical,” based on the hit movie with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. It’s the first time the show will be performed in Miami, though it was at the Broward Center last year.

In January, “The Cher Show” arrives for its South Florida debut, telling the story of the iconic singer through songs and more Bob Mackie gowns than you ever dreamed of (maybe).

In March, the blockbuster “Hamilton” marches back into the theater, followed by the South Florida premiere of “Peter Pan,” which has been newly adapted by playwright Larissa FastHorse and directed by Emmy Award-winner Lonny Price.

The season ends with the ever-popular “Les Miserables.”

Season subscriptions are now on sale. The 2023 season continues with audience favorite “Wicked”(Feb. 15-March 5); “My Fair Lady”(March 28-April 2); and “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations” (May 9-14).
