Halloween Forecast: Here's what's in store for trick-or-treating
Trick-or-treaters can expect "a bit spooky" temperatures on Halloween with a chilly air mass over the region, the National Weather Service says.
Monday's rain should clear out, but temperatures Tuesday should reach 49 degrees during the day and drop to a low of about 40 degrees by 9 p.m., the weather service said.

That's about 10 degrees colder than normal and much colder than last Halloween when the temperature was 5 to 10 degrees above normal, the National Weather Service said on X.
There's a chance of showers overnight Tuesday, but that's most likely after 1 a.m., according to the weather service.

Wednesday looks like the coldest day of the week with a daytime high of 45 degrees and the temperature dropping to 30 degrees overnight. By the weekend, high temperatures should rebound into the low 60s.
